Jamelia
grew up in Birmingham under difficult circumstances, but rose to become a gifted singer- songwriter, model, entertainer, television presenter and actress.She is best known for her use of a cappella and for her work in the R&B genre.
She was signed up by a record company at fifteen, releasing her first successful single "I do" followed by “Superstar” and “Thank You”.
Her autobiography in Stronger describes her inspirational story to succeed against the odds.
