Catherine Deeley
was born in Sutton Coldfield, Birmingham.She entered a regional edition of a BBC competition for The Clothes Show at 14, and reached the national finals.
By 16 she was signed as a model, and soon developed her career as an English television presenter, actress, singer and model.
Deeley has been the host of the MTV show Hitlist UK, SMTV Live, So You Think You Can Dance and The Choise, and launched "In the Dressing Room".
She is a supporter of Unicef and Great Ormond Street Hospital.
