Usain Bolt
is a Jamaican sprinter and is regarded as the fastest person ever.He trained in Birmingham prior to winning the 100m, 200m and 4x100m races, the latter in a new world record time of 36.84 seconds, at the 2012 Olympic Games in London.
Following his victory he paid tribute to Birmingham, saying:
"They were extremely great to us, they showed us a lot of love, and thank you guys... You guys helped us to come out and do our best.”
