Arron Bird
made the bronze sculptures which are scattered around the jewellery box of The Cube.The work is dedicated to "The Lovely People", each piece immortalising a real person who inspired others and demonstrated a source of pride for the city.
The figures dotted around the atrium include a figure suspended in mid-air holding a balloon, Gerda, a Holocaust survivor, Dave Burns, a fire fighter awarded the George Medal for Bravery, a Prince's Trust counsellor and one of Birmingham's most well-known businessmen.
