Judas Priest
is a heavy metal band formed in Birmingham in 1969.The founders included Ian Hill, John Ellis and Kenneth "K. K." Downing, a Grammy Award winning guitarist and songwriter.
It is thought to be one of the finest and most original heavy metal bands of all time.
Their album British Steel included "Metal Gods" and "Grinder", and is considered to have inspired the term "heavy metal".
