Duran Duran
was formed by John Taylor and Nick Rhodes in Birmingham in 1978.The group grew to 5 members and became one of the most successful bands of the 1980s. They had keen sense of visual style and were part of emerging New Romantic scene.
They placed 14 singles within the Top 10 of the UK Singles Chart, as well as 21 in the Billboard Hot 100, including "Planet Earth", "Girls on Film" and ""Hungry Like The Wolf"
In total Duran Duran sold more than 100 million records.
