ReimaginingOur aim is to build a resonant image for Birmingham, one that is based on its DNA and that all of
its diverse people can share in.
Birmingham is composed of a vibrant mix of individuals who each have
an identity to be proud of, providing the basis for "i am" as a part of
Birmingham.
Their creativity define the unique fabric of this
city, and drives it forwards. Their ingenuity is reflected by the
metal work, jewellery design, and automotive and aerospace industries
which are still rooted here, as is illustrated by the springs
drawn within the Arista typeface.
Some of the region's notable personalities are listed
below. It is the inspired drive of such individuals and those of
previous generations that have shaped the region's identity. We've written our city as Birmingham to
reflect this spirit.
